Im currently on ubuntu 9.04 and it is about time i upgraded but i noticed that ubuntu 10.04 is soon to be released and thought i might aswell go straight for that.
I haven't been able to find any information on upgrading from 9.04 and was wondering how to do it.
I cant upgrade to 9.10 then 10.04 as this will take ages at our connection speed and is most likely to be cut off half way through. I cant download 10.04 image and burn it to a disk as i have no discs and no burner.
I would happily wait for a cd when 10.04 is released but ive ordered 3 and they said i cant have any more :) (Any ideas around this?)
My thought is that i get a list of all files needed for 10.04 and install them, then remove all old packages so i end up with a new install without the install part if you under stand :) .
But there must be a easier way, any ideas Thanks :)
