I currently travel for work and carry two computers to avoid the personal use on the work laptop. I have ubuntu 9.10 installed on a 16GB flash drive and can run it via booting from USB. Running ubuntu from the flash drive I need to confirm if there is any impact or traceable footprint to the work computer due to downloads (stored to the flash drive from bit torrents mostly), streaming TV/music, and using facebook. The obvious second part of this is if there is ANY impact, can I do anything to eliminate it? Frankly, going through airport security carrying two computers with power packs as well as my gaming console and suitcase is getting old. :D I looked and didn't see this in the existing posts so if it's out there already I apologize. Thanks.
