Wicd installation problem

Got a small problem installing Wicd, i went to the software centre and clicked install, off it went and starting installing Wicd, then at 50% done it crashed, dam i thought and restarted the laptop. Now when i go to re-install Wicd it just comes up "waiting for other software mangers to quit" and stays at 0%, anybody have any idea of what has happened and how to stop this?

Well got it sorted, i think LOL
Opened up sys package program and it told me there was a problem and to type the follow:

sudo dpkg --configure -a

Think that must have cleared out the old download that went wrong and now it all seams fine
