I just upgraded to 10.04 Ubuntu and then installed kubuntu-desktop, then removed all my gnome stuff. When I moved my default system tray to another tool bar, I lost the network manager. Now I can't connect to my network. Is there no other place to connect to a network?

Solutions? I am a super noob at kde but not at linux.

try pressing alt+f2 and then typing 'knetwork' you should be able to pick the knetwork manager.

but i advise you, when you have internet ofcourse, to install wicd. that will give you some better support, especially with the hidden wireless networks. has a better interface too...
(type sudo apt-get install wicd in the konsole)

totally agree! It's the first thing I do after installing kubuntu: "sudo apt-get install wicd".
