I've been duel booting Ubuntu 9.04 Desktop on my netbook with Windows XP for a while now, and I've been wondering if I should upgrade to 9.10 or not. Is there any advantages of 9.10 over 9.04?

No big rush, but support for 9.04 will be ending in October. Upgrading to 9.10 will get you an extra 6 months of support, as well as newer versions of all software applications.

If you are going to "upgrade" I suggest you backup your home directory and do a fresh install of 9.10 or just wait a month and do the same for Lucid...when you upgrade through the update manager, there are some things that don't update properly.

Advantages are a multitude of bug fixes and feature improvements.....

The same thing is true from 9.10 to 10.04....that will be released in the next few weeks....
