need help, killed my ubuntu

Hi people,

I killed my ubuntu(9.10) and now can not log in anymore. After I type my password, ubuntu starts loading again and asks me for a password again.
Yesterday I was playing with nautilus(installed nautilus elementary) and maybe have broken something. Can you give me any idea how to solve my problem?

maybe I should reinstall gnome?

manual install of gnome-session.deb and ubuntu-desktop.deb worked :)
