Please do not install ATI Catalyst 10.2 & 10.3.

These versions of ATI catalyst contain new drivers that support Direct 2D. However, these drivers break Kwin and render them unusable.

Instead, stick with ATI Catalyst 10.1, which is avalible here: http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/linux/10-1/Pages/radeon_linux.aspx

Now why would someone even install any catalyst <10.4 on an OS (kernel/xserver) thats now even support by anything below 10.4?

I've attempted to make it work though... eventually I went with the open-source drivers.
