Applets are no longer in the panel.

I am running Ubuntu Karmic and I used to see a few applets such as NetworkManager in the top panel.
They are gone. What have happened to them?
I am just curious.:confused:

Hi!

Try hitting <alt><f2> to open a Run dialog. Then run 'nm-applet'. That should bring the Network Manager back.

Did you delete the Aotification Area?

Having done more search on the Internet for some answers, I've found that I had somehow removed the Notification Area from the top panel. I put this back and everything is normal now.:p
