I can't get firefox 3.6 to act right, 3.7 won't show up, so what the hell? Yes I made some few changes, but what did I do to cause this message in Apport? Can't even report a bug in the proper manner. You guys at canonical are really disturbing me. I'm not that smart to break ubuntu.

Calm down! Are you using Karmic or Lucid or something else?

This is not a genuine Ubuntu package

That's easy to answer: It's 3.5.8 in the Karmic repos. If you're referring to 3.7 then almost certainly you're dealing with 3rd-party repositories or manual binary/source downloads. In that case yelling at Canonical most probably won't help, because, hey, you're not using the package they provided.

From the Ubuntu Forums Code of Conduct (http://ubuntuforums.org/index.php?page=policy).

If a post is older than a year or so and hasn't had a new reply in that time, instead of replying to it, create a new thread. In the software world, a lot can change in a very short time, and doing things this way makes it more likely that you will find the best information. You may link to the original discussion in the new thread if you think it may be helpful.
