So I'm curious to know what everybody is watching on tv these days. Maybe there is a good show out there that I am missing?

The only 2 shows right now that I really really like are Supernatural and Sons of Anarchy.

I watch 24, Lie to Me and House pretty faithfully but I could take them or leave them really.

I was a big Heroes fan but that show has dropped the ball in my opinion.

Anyway, I look forward to what else you folks are watching.

That's the word. I'm surprised though. I don't know how they can top the apocalypse exactly. But should be interesting!

Lost and the new show Spartacus blood and sand. I also can't wait for The Pacific show to kick off, I was a huge fan of Band of brothers.

http://www.dumblittleman.com/2007/07/how-to-chill-hot-beer-or-soda-in-3.htmlYa , this was covered on Mythbusters... The fastest way is not to pour it over ice (a mistake all beer drinkers only make once), but to pour the beer and place one or two ice cubes on top. I've done it and it will chill your hot beer faster than any other method (i.e., on the top where your drinking from and the ice is floating). If your thirsty, which is implied, this small amount of ice will provide a heat exchange at the source. But, drink fast it 's only a temperature differential, it will soon melt leaving the beer warm and diluted. Sorry if off topic.

Someone mentioned Journeyman... That as the most awesome show, and I still can't believe it was cancelled. Seems like so many good series are cancelled before being given a chance. Here's a few more that fell this fate IMO anyway:
- Firefly
- Jake 2.0
- The Lone Gunman
- New Amsterdam

For now we try not to miss:
- Modern Family
- The Big Bang Theory
- Chuck
- Warehouse 13 (whenever it comes back anyway)

And here's some we've fallen out of but will probably pick back up on DVD:
- V
- FlashForward
- Caprica

Take care --

Sam

Only US tv shows worth watching are South Park, NCIS, Men In Trees (reminds me of Northern Exposure) & House. The rest of the stuff I watch is British which you guys in the states will probably never see. US tv sux as far as I'm concerned.

Edit: I left out Law & Order which is my favourite

How come you got to write NCIS in capitals, but when I tried to do the same with a 70s British SF show the forum parsed the word to lower case? :(

Just use the color tag in-between letters :|

it's also how you get passed the swear filter, which sucks.

When 24 moves into syndication (FX perhaps) a 24 hour marathon would seem mandatory.

Can't believe no one has mentioned "Twin Peaks"...

On modern t.v. shows I've watch the first season of "Breaking Bad" going to get around to buying the second season soon which has finally come out on DVD.

Bryan Cranston is unbelievably good in it.
