Hello frnds...im stuck with a problem i.e
I have Windows XP Pro pre-installed on my PC then
I installed Ubuntu 9.10 on XP...Everything worked fine but
now i have deleted the Ubuntu partition from Windows Disk Management utility.
So when i restarted my PC it went to Grub rescue prompt>
I tried to boot frm live cd as per the previous post.
Now wat im supposed to do...i mean I did dd if=/usr/lib/syslinux/mbr.bin of=/dev/sda
now wat???
Even I did grub-install but im getting stuck over there...wat is device im supposed to mention???
I tried grub-probe -d /dev/sda...its showin unknown filesystem
plz help asap....im in vain...:(
