After upgrading to 10.04 from 9.10 I rebooted my computer, entered my password and hit ok. Instead of seeing my desktop I’m faced with a purple wallpaper and a terminal window in the top left corner... I'm not very comfortable using the terminal yet and I don't know what to do to get past this, can anyone help?
