OK,
so I need to remove GRUB and in searching through the other threads, none of them see to be what I am looking for. Not knowing anything about what GRUB does or how it works, I thought I could delete all my partitions and it would go away. (I have backups so not a big deal that my partitions are gone). After deleting all the partitions, I was surprised to see GRUB still come up. Most of the threads I found dealt with problems where the HDDs still had the OS's on them. Mine don't.
I downloaded SuperGRUB but when I try to use it I just get a GRUB menu and none of the options actually start the SuperGrub program or I am not using it correctly.
Can someone help me? I have tried my recovery disks that came with the laptop when I bought it but they can't get past GRUB on the MBR.
The native OS was Vista.
Any help?
