Custumizing dektop

Hai friends i would like to know how to install and improve my desktop

By checking a site i got the following detail

A clever use of transparency to make the windows stand out. Notice that most of the icons in the AWN dock are of black and grey shade that complement the dark theme.

I installed emerald manager and got the Overglossed, but I can't seem to figure out how to get the rest installed and working into my theme.

I'm still new to this and can't seem to find instructions or help tips anywhere.

I really just want to add the transparent portion to the rest of the Overglossed theme.
