Hello guys,
I have this weird problem in Ubuntu 9.10, and it happens in 9.04 too. So, from time to time, the screen gets blank for 1-2 seconds and then it gets back to normal. I noticed that if I don't have any windows opened, the delay between the moments when the screen is going blank is bigger (5 to 10 minutes).
I have an Asus M2A-VM motherboard with an ATI Radeon X1250 integrated video card. My monitor is a Samsung SyncMaster 2496HM 24".
I have to mention that I don't have this kind of problem on Windows (tested on XP, Vista and 7).
How can I fix this issue? It drives me mad.
