View Full Version : [ubuntu] How to burn .deb and its dependancies

hi all
I am new in ubuntu. I am using Ubuntu 9.04.I downloaded n install cmake, qt, binutils-dev, git-core n many more from ubuntu links. Now all above mentioned packages comes in /tmp folder. Now I want to make a cd/dvd of all mentioned packages, rember these are all .deb so that i can install all of them in a new desktop or system.
My computer architecture is i686.
Pls help m in regard...

I don't know how you downloaded them but they should be under /var/cache/apt/archives.If they are you can use APTonCD (http://aptoncd.sourceforge.net/).If they are in /tmp and they are .deb files,just burn them as data with Brasero or K3b.
