We're planning a Lucid Release Party for the Philippine Team (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1437482). We're looking for a venue, but we'll probably going to do it in an office.

What activities can you recommend? :)

Play teeworld! o/ It's pretty funny.
Otherwise if it's only social and not geeky, well food and booz!
If not alcohol allowed then juice will be fine :D

You should have an industrial themed party, like in the first Matrix movie where Neo goes to the club with the electro/industrial music playing and strobe lights.

I would very much like to make and distribute through Youtube an Ubuntu parody of the Mac/PC commercials. Just imagine:

MID SHOT. WHITE ROOM

Clean cut, twenty-something (Mac) stands besides a bespectacled Middle-Aged man, wearing a suit (PC).

MAC: Hello, I'm a Mac.

PC: And I'm a PC.

WIDE SHOT. WHITE ROOM

Another twenty-something (Ubuntu), with longer, well styled hair, clothed like a Rock Star is making out with Supermodel Joanna Krupa. PC taps him on the shoulder.

UBUNTU: Wha? Oh! And I'm Ubuntu. *winks slyly*

CUT TO UBUNTU LOGO AND CAPTION READING "Just think. Period." AS DEFAULT UBUNTU DRUMS LOADING SOUND PLAYS

WIDE SHOT. WHITE ROOM

PC and Mac are gawking at Ubuntu, who still has his arm around Joanna Krupa.

UBUNTU: What the @#$% are you noobs staring at?

CUT

Obviously, this project has some big casting issues.

EDIT: My apologies. I see now my post is a bit off topic, I read the thread title a bit hastily and posted what I would like to do for the release of Lucid. I will lurk better, next time.
