Making or installing a FTP server O.o Help Please

Hello guys im sorry to bother you but, im new to this and well i need to make a FTP server, i tried using the forums but well.... it was no good, i tried with svftpd but i still lack of knowledge and everything. I would really be saved if someone helps me. Thanks in advance.

I think what you want is fileZilla

Be careful, because there's two programs. One to upload files to your FTP server, and one to turn you into a mini FTP server or something like that.

i too have been trying to set up an ftp site and from my understanding the thing that holds most people back is a static ip address you can get around that by using no-ip.com they have a program that dates your ip and assigns it an easy to remember name

o ya and no-ip is free getting a stitic ip 10-30 dollars a month
