Hello,

I am working on one project in which it is necessary to use RDP. The problem is Ubuntu is going to be installed on remote machine and its not going to be connected to the Monitor, Mouse and keyboard also.

So as it is not connected to the monitor, GDM doesn't start and because of this, I can't do RDP to the machine.

Is is possible to start GDM without monitor attached?? Is there any other solutions??

Thanks in advance,
Modi

Thank you,

I will give it a try. But for me GDM is must as I installed VirtualBox and there are many Guest OS which I have to run in graphics mode and I need GDM for that.

The link you mentioned is not working for me.

Is there any other way to do so??

Thanks,
