I had used all of 20gig hard drive to install Ubuntu. Yesterday, I shrunk the primary partition 3.3 Gib. and created another primary partition with intentions of installing Lucid beta 1 on it.
Using a Lucid alternative CD, I get all the way to "partition disks" where I select the new partition. But when I tried to proceed to "install base system," it doesn't happen, saying "no root file system selected (or something to that effect)." Who to do? What is it that I'm not doing?
Any help will be appreciated.
