Some of us have had problems installing or running 9.10 as a live CD on laptops and on PC's with larger 23" screens, and video card issues etc.

The issue for me has been the OS installs, but part way into it, a block comes up on the screen, "Input not supported".

After many significant trials at installation, I found that when F4 is selected prior to installation, and "Safe Graphics Mode" is selected the installation will go through to being successful, rather than "jamming" graphically.

There IS a fundamental difference between the video drivers used in 8.04 and 9.10.

Hence the need for some of use to use "Safe Graphics Mode" when installing.

This may help you.

I hope so.
