Hello,

I'm interested in trying out the 10.04 beta release. Does anyone know if it will be possible to upgrade from the beta to the final version once it is released in April? Or will I have to perform a fresh install of the final version?

I think all that you need to do is to keep installing the updates as in

sudo apt-get update and sudo apt-get upgrade and eventually the full version will be obtained. Or you can just use the update manager.

Yes, it can be possible. I did for 9.04 beta to 9.04 stable.

Thats what I did with this version of ubuntu and it worked.

Hi all

Took the dreaded plunged, normally I do clean installs

Upgrading from Ubuntu 9.10 to 10.04 beta went like a dream

If Canonical keep on with these types of upgrades then it is all +++++++++

Thank you all
