Hi,

I just installed wubi Ubuntu 9.10 under window 7. The use of Ubuntu is ok, but every thime after I used ubuntu, and I switched back to windows 7, there would alwasy be a disk consistency check before start windows... I have only one hard driver without participation at the moment.

Does anyone have any ideas about it? it is a bit annoying, and I do not know if it will cause any serious problems...

Help me.

Hi and welcome to the forums,

"Help me", okay. If you have 10GB of hard disk space available I'd strongly recommend that you switch from Wubi to dual boot.

Win7 and Wubi just do not seem to get on well together. As wubi has been around for a long time and Win7 has not, I would not like to say if it is a problem with Win7, or Wubi. All that matters is that there have been some people saying that they do not get on well together.

From Win7 you can make some free space and pop ubuntu on there, doing so has several advantages.

As to the way Win7 is behaving --> http://www.sevenforums.com/installation-setup/2557-dual-win7-ubuntu.html

May give you some idea as to why Wubi is having problems.

But, just go for a dual boot :-)
