Root files uuid not found grub2

I have a Netbook Remix install on an SD card that won't boot. Grub2 in the recovery mode shows it fails finding the root files by using UUID. It's my first Grub2 install and I'm not sure how to go about debugging it. The machine boots the same version from a USB stick.

I know there is a way to over-ride the UUID, but cannot recall it / quickly find it.

If someone pops on the link, use that. I can only suggest re-installing grub onto the SD card. This is not overly difficult and there is a great 'How To' at section 13, here --> http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1195275
