I have not idea where post fixed drivers but her i think will be useful for all. This printer is popular and is not included in ubuntu package.

That worked perfectly! For some reason the old drivers off the Canon Asia site did not work with Lucid, but these are working perfectly!

Thanks from here, too. While I was able to print from Ubuntu before, the Canon drivers deliver a much better print quality.

I used the instructions under the launchpad entry to get my Canon ip4500 working very nicely with Lucid.

You've no idea how excited I was to have found this article, I've never been able to get the Asian debs to work. And now i can finally rid myself of the Windows partition that's been haunting my hard drive.
