I finally got the CD for Ubuntu set up and booted from it. I got through Step 7 of the installation. Then and error came up saying something about not being able to continue... try cleaning the disk and some other stuff. Then it got me to where I could try Ubuntu from the CD.
Is there a way I can get the files while running Ubuntu on the CD from the Internet to be able to finish the installation?
