hello everyone.

i ahve a problem understanding Grub. i installed Ubuntu 9.10 into my D drive, no subfolders. and for reasons that elude me completely, i have to manually tell ubuntu where to boot from. and i dont know how. my D drive is HD1 (my windows root is HD0)

can anyone tell a low intelligence person how to boot it successfully?

oh by the way i installed it using Wubi.

Please explain the entire process of how your partitions are setup right now and are you using multiple hdd?
