View Full Version : [xubuntu] Alsa mixer installation error

Hi I have dowloaded the latest version of alsa mixer and done cd, configure etc until I got to make install, where it gives me the following error....

I am using xubuntu 9.10 on an AAO

what does it mean?

Try with: sudo make install

thank you, it helped with alsa-lib but alsa-driver still gives me an error, shall I post the new results?

First focus in make,
Install this: sudo aptitude install build-essential patch
And run the make, post if it is an error.

Btw, the order is ./configure, make and make install
