I'm going to use this to talk about "non-computer" related subjects. Help me get the word out, and take a look for yourself.
Thanks.
EDIT: Geez. I didn't even put in the web-site address. Once you read the blog, you'll know why. LOL.

You reallize that anyone able to relate to your problem won't be able to read something that long?
What i need is paragraphs , preferably sperated by a picture.
If you put a paragraph with a picture to the left of it then another paragraph with a picture to the right, and make sure every separate point has it's own paragraph.. then i'll be able to read it. Thanks!
I can still read books and find out about stuff I need to find out about because if i can manage to decide "Yes, now i will only do one thing, i am going to relax and read a book" then I can do it, but that's rare because i have so much to do. And i can find out about stuff because i've got awesome skimming/scanning skills.

True. It's good that I have a sense of humor about this. Because that was funny.

More pictures. Added them today.

The blog editor is pretty simplistic. I don't think it will let me do that. If it does, I didn't take the time to figure it out. ;)

No kidding bro! I am with you on that one. I can read, and educate myself when I can make the decision to do it. But making that decision is tough when you are constantly surrounded by distractions.
Kids, just being kids, are constant distractions. The TV on, the radio on, the dog, smell of food cooking, simple household noises, even having to go to the bathroom are all distractions, and difficult to deal with. I used to blame the distractions, then I found out it was me.

Sometimes. What I'd really like to know is if I hit the nail right on the head here.
Do others with ADD/ADHD see this the same way?

Ever had a conversation with someone, and just toned out? Like talking to someone, and you just were somewhere else in your head. So much, so that you didn’t even hear the person right next to you? Holy crap! That’s not just a problem, it’s kind of insulting to the person who was talking to you.
I don't think I have ADHD, but I can definitely identify with this. Its a pretty common occurrence and it makes me feel pretty bad about my rudeness, especially since I've never had someone act like this to me.
I can also identify with "hyperfocus" which I just learned about from reading your blog :P I just spent my entire weekend and all the time I have off work trying to get my mingw cross compiling environment working.

If you have nervous ticks, like tapping your finger or pencil, impulsivity, little things like that, you may have the hyperactivity portion of it.
But from what I understand, most adults have developed behaviors to work with most of the underlying issues. So it is a possibility that you do, but have learned a lot of coping mechanisms to deal with it.

That's the one I have a love hate relationship with. I love it, because when I am hyperfocused I learn at a tremendously fast level. I hate it, because I lose track of time, and if I get distracted, I really get angry.

This may not be the forum for this, but would you be interested in a link exchange with my blog at all?

Sure. And that's fine for this thread.

hahaha I agree it helps learn really fast. Unfortunately for things that used to matter like class, I used to end up leaving studying until the last minute and then hyper focusing (cramming, really) so that I could past the test. It worked, I always passed with decent grades, but I could probably have done better :P
