How do I Change from Xubuntu to Ubuntu?

Hi,

I've just upgraded to Lucid Xubuntu, using


sudo update-manager -d

I'd like to change to the Gnome (ubuntu) default system. Can I just install


ubuntu-desktop and uninstall
xubuntu-desktop ?

Any advice appreciated.

You don't necessarily have to uninstall xubuntu-desktop. But yeah, you basically have it. Choose Gnome next time you log-in.

in this case will change also the default boot theme (i will see ubuntu logo or xubuntu one?)
