View Full Version : What do you think is open source softwares best kept secret?

We all hear about the same programmes time and time again. Music players? Rhythmbox, Banshee. Word processors? Open office and Abiword etc. Once in awhile i come across some programs that i can't believe i didn't come across before.

So what programs do you use, that you couldn't live without, that other people may not have heard of?

k-meleon is a rather good webbrowser although it nowhere as good as opera and the other major web browsers.

and Artweaver as an alternative to gimp, it is very similar to photoshop, also im not positive this is open source
