I am trying to figure out how to have a standard 17" Acer LCD Monitor be mirrored to a 37" LCD TV. Since I am pretty new to Ubuntu, I haven't the foggiest idea if this is even possible, much less how to do it.
The scenario is this...
My boss goes to trade shows and takes his normal 17" monitor to do his work. What he wants is for a 37" Vizio TV to mirror what he is doing so people can see the product created (and possibly become interested in purchasing). What I'd like to know is what type of hardware/software would I need to make this a reality?
The systems we use have a PCIe 2.0 x16 slot as well as PCI x1. We are currently using the integrated graphics, so there is plenty room for an expansion graphics card if that is what needs to be done.
