You might want to run `apt-get -f install' to correct these:
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
sun-java6-jre: Depends: sun-java6-bin (= 6-16-0ubuntu1.9.04) but it is not going to be installed or
ia32-sun-java6-bin (= 6-16-0ubuntu1.9.04) but it is not installable
E: Unmet dependencies. Try 'apt-get -f install' with no packages (or specify a solution).

And running: apt-get -f install

Hi and welcome to the forums

After the 1st attempt, it suggested using the -f flag, why did you abort it ? It was asking to get the dependency that it needs.

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
sun-java6-jre: Depends: sun-java6-bin

and with the -f

The following NEW packages will be installed:
sun-java6-jre
The following packages will be upgraded:
sun-java6-bin

Try it again, but allow the -f install to go ahead.

Regards,

Phill.
