Would something like this be possible?
I'm using Gnome on Ubuntu 9.10 desktop
I want to set my login screen to the same picture as my desktop, then when I log in at the login screen, I don't want it to look like its changing screens or whatever, I want it to fade into my desktop as if the login screen was integrated into the desktop already.
If that makes sense...
example: (i guess)
Login
the login window fades out
the icons and bars fade in
