And ran into a couple of problems. - First there was something about IRQ 18 (about a thousand times). Then, when it decided to quit trying on that, the screen just went to garbage and I could go no further.
I did some research on the IRQ issue and it had something to do with the fax modem in the machine that never got used, so I removed it.
But the screen still went to **** 30 seconds into the install. So I gave up.
Anybody know what could be causing this?
I went with Fedora for the time being and I may or may not stick with it but I really like Ubuntu and would love to put it on that machine.
