Hi all, I have tried to install Ubuntu Linux 64 bits version 9.10. I have installed it perfectly, but when I boot up, it displays a black screen with white letters stating the following:
Minimal BASH-like line editing is supported. For the first word, TAB lists possible command completions. Anywhere else TAB lists possible devide/file completions.
sh:GRUB>

What do I do next? I am a completly newbie to Linux, and I do not seem to get something to boot. Tried to install lot's of times, but no luck. Any ideas?

P.S.: Installed Ubuntu via wubi in windows 7 ultimate

easy directions. this will allow you to boot into ubuntu.

a temporary fix is to replace the wubildr file in the windows "C:" directory.

you can get this from

just replace the current wubildr file in C:/ with the new one.
