Okay.. I did again.. they say ''If it works, don't touch it''..my KDE 4.3 was working flawlessly but of course!! 4.4.1 is out and its soooo keeewwwl!!!!!...you know the rest of the story..
some things went really messed up, but I managed my way through. Now Kopete is giving me more troubles than I thought, I crashes everytime I launch it, which makes it 100% USELESS...
crash handler reports a segmentation fault..
is anyone experiencing this?
Edit: solved it...some dependencies were bugging everything up... had to use synaptic instead of kpackage kit to uninstall and reinstall kopete. somehow the latter does not give me the root access I required for this operation.
