In September, GNOME 3.0 will be released. That's fine, but what features will be in its GTK?
I think a module that fuses Clutter on top of GTK+ would probably exist, which would make sense, given what the core of GNOME Shell is made of.
This Clutter module would allow themes and apps to take advantage of Clutter's compositing, including games. This could potentially allow Linux to rival or surpass Windows in terms of graphics, including gaming graphics - the Achilles' heel of Microsoft.
