View Full Version : [gnome] Change Icon Size in Nautilus List View?

Just wondering if it's possible to change the size of icons when Nautilus is in List View. I tried playing around with gtk-icon-sizes in the gtkrc file of my theme, but there doesn't seem to be a setting for it there. I could just zoom in/out, but when I have the icons the size I want them to be, the text is too small (see attachment). Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

isn't enough?

Yeah, unfortunately, adjusting zoom levels also affects font size. I'm looking for a way to change icon size without affecting the fonts (maybe a gtkrc setting?).

Hi

It is possible to do this with Dolphin File Manager, note the zoom slider on the bottom.

It's actually no problem doing what you want. Go to Settings > Configure Dolphin > View Modes. You can easily set both the icon size and the size of the preview image.
