KDE 4.4 has some neat features. I especially like how you can tab windows together.
But... the tiling is not useful for multiple monitors -- at least not with NVidia TwinView. If you haven't tried this, drag a window over to the left edge of the screen. The outline will "pop" to be a tile. In theory you could drag to the right side and now have two windows tiled together. But with 2 monitors abreast of each other you have to drag to the FAR right.
Well I stand corrected. I just noticed that if you go slow enough and pause around the center of the screen it does work. I also noticed you can use a different activity for each monitor (System Settings, Multiple Desktops). Cool.
