When ever suspend-to-ram or suspend-to-disk begin running, I want a "notifier" pop-up to happen: "Sleep (suspend-to-ram) in Progress or "Hibernate (suspend-to-disk) in Progress.
After restart, I'd like a "notifier" pop-up to happen: Resume in Progress.
Can someone help me understand how ACPI and laptop "special keys" and events and whatever make this happen?
