First i would like to thank nobody for your help. Hate to be rude but after days of watching everyone around me get answers and i am ignored it is frustrating. Anything would be nice, if im in the wrong forum tell me, if i am doing something wrong tell me, if i am just that inexperienced and its my fault... TELL ME!

I am now thouroughly convinced that somehow Ubuntu has ruined my computer and due to all the useful advice on this and other forums i am left with this conclusion. My mouse and my keyboard will not work. And now awesomely enough i cant put windows back on. Even after going to the boot menu and selecting disk it flashes a few times and then goes to GRUB anyways.

I shall continue to look thru these forums and check on my posts hoping i get something...

Please insure the cd/dvd drive is before the hard disk in the boot sequence.

Check your BIOS settings to insure the CD/DVD is before the disk drive in the boot sequence.

THEN boot from the windows install disk. I suspect windows will wipe out the fragment of GRUB on the boot record of the hard drive.

I hope I am understanding your problem.
