After upgrading to Karmic, I'm having trouble with reboots.
Sometimes when I reboot, the system does all its BIOS stuff and then displays "GRUB loading". In this case it will boot properly. Other times, instead of "GRUB loading", it just shows a flashing cursor until I hit CTRL-ALT-Delete - then it works.
The problem seems to happen when I initiate a restart from Ubuntu, so I'm guessing it is something to do with not shutting down properly.
Any ideas greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Mike
