Hello,
strange problem here,
I only have a Win netbook with no CD drive to access internet,
I am not authrised to install ubuntu on this computer,
I'd like to install ubuntu on an other desktop PC that has no CD drive,

so

I think I should make a bootale usb key from windows,
Wubi doesn't seem able to do this
is there a way to do this?
can anyone guide me through this procedure?
thnakyou,
nikio.

as long as your desktop BIOS allows booting from USB you can make a bootable USB from windows using unetbootin (http://unetbootin.sourceforge.net/)
