dock?

well i have a crappy computer so it cant use AWN and docky lags.
are there any docks that uses low resources?
i looked up wbar, but can you minimize windows to it?

Have a look at simdock as well, I think that's fairly light.
Mind you last time I looked it was nowhere near as fancy as cairo!

Also not exactly a stand-alone dock but you can try dockbarx which runs as a gnome panel applet :
