I did this before, just through systems>preferences. On accident, I was trying to change the desktop background. It stayed the same and behind the cube was a different wallpaper. After logging out and logging back in, the change was gone. Now I can't figure out how to do this. Any help? Also, how do you get "Advanced Special Effects" under System>Preferences? I have compiz config manager and simplcompiz (which wont run). Any ideas?
