Virtual desktop on different monitors

Hi, is possible to have a "virtual desktop 1" on a "lcd monitor 1" and a "virtual desktop 2" on a "lcd monitor 2" at the same time? I've got a nVidia dual head card and KDE 4.3.5.

I came to post the exact same problem, just with GNOME. I'm also on nVidia.

It's really annoying because I want to, for example, have the GIMP tool menus in one screen and the image in another but it doesn't work, as it won't let me drag windows in between screens.
