hey gang! i'm a new linux (ubuntu 9.10) user, but i am having trouble getting ubuntu to boot... here is my situation:
i have installed ubuntu onto my secondary hard drive, when my computer boots, it prompts me to start windows or ubuntu, but when i select ubuntu my pc freezes with the ubuntu logo in the middle of the screen.
i have installed ubuntu on a blank, ntfs formatted hard drive that is on the first position of my cable select chain. i am wondering if i need to switch my jumper settings...
anyone know if i can run a second os on CS, or do i need to have master/slave settings... if so, how should i set the drives? i plan on mostly running windows (for now at least) but i'd like to be able to choose at boot which os i run...
thanks in advance!
