Windows picture recovery tool

Hi,

A friend of mine got her picture folder deleted and asks me if it's possible to recover it.

Google gives some solutions, but I don't know which programs are trustworthy.
Does anyone can suggest me a good (free) program I can install on Windows for such a task?

Of course an alternative would be to build her hard disk into my computer, boot it from Ubuntu and use some Linux tools, but I prefer the Windows only solution.

Don't worry friend, today IT have gained much growth and able to extract the missing, deleted, corrupted, formatted and inaccessible photos from hard disk drive and memory card. I am very sorry for your friend......But here I want to help you. Trust me its just fake post. I had have the same issue in January 2010 in my Canon G10 camera. All images were suddenly gone because I accidently choose "format" option. But thank god...Mac Photo Recovery (http://www.photorecoveryformacosx.com) tool...It's really great and helped to recover my all memories after a few clicks...So you should try Mac OS X Photo Recovery tool!
