I have had that problem for a long time, and I have noticed it also exists with Gnome.
It affects the games called k-something, for exemple it affects KMahjongg but not the version called Mahjongg.
What happens is that the game opens either in a fixed-sized window (knetwalk) or in a resizable window (KMahjongg) but resizing it (drag-and-drop) does not increase the size of the board, I only get a wider margin to the right and to the bottom of the board.
This makes playing these games rather incomfortable.
How can I make them resizable, please?
